  i'm the only one in the drive thru and i ask for a loaded gravy fries. i end up being parked saying that they were waiting on fresh fries. so i'd expect the wait to be 4 minutes or less being that fries take 3 minutes to cook. i ended up waiting 10 minutes. by the time they came out to me the fries had gone soggy and cold. the gravy was so runny that you couldn't even see it was on the fries. the tiny bit that they put on it sank to the bottom and made the fries even soggier. plus the girl who brought out my order didn't even apologise for the wait and was rude.

• Review of "McDonald's Gilles Plains" at Gilles Plains

  This McDonald's is my favourite in the Adelaide region. I often go there for my morning coffee and to read the paper. I have never received a wrong order and I've been pleased with the courtesy and respect shown my the staff and morning manager. I try not to use the drive through as I prefer face to face contact. The grounds are beautiful. The maintenance staff there take great pride in nurturing the beautiful roses and shrubs placed nicely around the building. Today (June 26th, 2017) this McDonald's introduced the first "Uber Delivery" service. This is a pretty big development for McDonald's and shows how this store is leading the pack. The Manager tells me that the Uber drivers will collect the custom paper delivery bags from the counter and take them directly to the customer via a iPhone or Android app. I have included two photos from today, a look inside at the Uber pick up counter, and a view of the exterior flag announcing this big event. I am ranking this store a 5/5.
